Survivors and Victims Empowered (S.A.V.E), www.s-a-v-e.org
A non-profit organization created to help prevent the criminal neglect and physical, emotional and sexual abuse of children and to help the survivors of these childhood traumas. SAVE publishes the Child Protection Guide (CPG) which includes definitions and sumptoms of abuse, reporting procedures, safety tips, referral resources, screening procedures and more.
 
Domestic Violence Services of Lancaster County, 24 hr emergency hotline: 717-299-1249
DVS is a program of the Community Action Program of Lancaster County. Services include emergency shelter up to 30-60 days, individual and group counseling, children's activities, education and outreach, domestic violence legal clinic which may offer free services to victims, and bridge housing up to 12-18 months. STAGES offers both individual counseling and group therapy to rework issues of emotional and physical Safety, what it means To connect and be in relationships, identify and tolerate Affect states (emotions), Grieve losses, establish a sense of Empowerment, and to address the impact of trauma on one's sense of Spirituality.

Organization set up to resist human trafficking by increasing public awareness, by providing direct outreach to the victims and by offering care restoration and a voice to those rescued from human trafficking, though the empowering gospel of Jesus Christ.
 
Sexual Assault Prevention and Counseling Center at the Lancaster YWCA,
The Center provides counseling and support to all past and present survivors of sexual assault, family members and significant others. The Center is also committed to heightening community awareness about the realities of sexual assault through prevention and education programs.

Clare House provides a temporary home in a caring environment in addition to food, clothing and personal supplies. Clare House provides shelter to all homeless women and children. The only criteria is that the head of household be 18 years of age or older, free of drugs and alcohol and be able to pass a drug test and demonstrate a willingness to participate in the program. Also provides financial management assistance, life skills training, and aftercare support.

Milagro House opens it doors to all qualified homeless women and their children, regardless of their age, race, religious affiliation, sexual preference or criminal record. Our program is for women who are expecting, have custody of their children, or are in the process of regaining custody of their children. In addition to housing, our primary focus is education—this is what sets our program apart. But we also provide weekly mental health counseling, budgeting and parenting support. Note: Boys over 12 may not reside at Milagro House.

The House of Ruth is a residence where women leaving the Lancaster County prison system can find a safe structured Christ centered family environment to love, nurture and encourage them.  It helps them to avoid the cycle of drugs, poverty, violence and abuse that has devastated their lives and families.

The Center exists to help families thrive by providing a hub of interactive services which offer a healing presence, foster healthy relationships and model community cooperation. There is a coffee shop, a library, life counselors, mental health counselors, wellness center, meeting rooms and more. The Family Center was created by Anne and Jonas Beiler, Founders of Auntie Anne's.

The mission is to bring hope, restoration, and service to single, young birthmothers and their children through Christ-centered homes. Our goal is to help each young woman walk through the immediate challenges in her life and help her prepare her and her child’s future. The program is designed to help each young woman become aware of who the Lord is and experience healing through God’s love. We desire to help them become loving, nurturing, parents and moral, contributing members of their communities. We also include ministry to family members and seek to restore family relationships.

Services include pregnancy tests, limited medical services for women at rish for abortion, pregnancy counseling, parenting skills education, adoption education, port-abortion counseling and Bible study group, sesual abuse counseling and support group, referrals for medical care and financial assistance, housing for pregnant clients, ongoing friendship and support, and more.
 
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children, 717- 728-2372
Supports and promotes court appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.  CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children, to make sure they don’t get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system or languish in an inappropriate group or foster home.  They stay with each case until it is closed and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home.

Free to Be's Mission is to raise awareness of all wellness-related issues and opportunities, and its founders share a common, and specific, passion -- the treatment and support of those struggling with eating disorders.

Helps Lancaster County residents by teaching them the skills they need to solve their housing and financial problems. Whether a client needs to move from a shelter or pay off a difficult mortgage, Tabor can help. Tabor provides confidential case management and public workshops. They offer the Transitional Living Center, the Beth Shalom House of Peace, the Jubilee House, and the Market View Apartments. Christian organization that provides a residence for women who need healing. Other services include meeting with women, one on one, ministering through Bible studies, prayer, and  biblical encouragement, support and direction, Leading groups such as support groups, Bible studies, and fellowship groups, as desired and needed, Ministering to women in prison, Providing prayer:  call-in requests, write-in requests, email requests, in-group requests, in-session requests.

Mom’s House gives honor and glory to God by treating each person, born and pre-born, as a unique and price-less gift of a loving Creator. Single parents commit to attending school regularly, maintaining passing grades and attending all life/parenting classes, and provide at least 2 hours of service to MOM's House each week.
