Our Annual Event
Butterfly Wings held its 2011 women's kickoff event on Friday, February 4th of 2011, 6:30-9pm at Victory Church in Lancaster (1827 Freedom Road in the Greenfield Corporate Center). A picture slideshow is below:
We had a dynamic speaker, Pastor Mary Wilson, whose talk was on "Awakening Hope!"
Mary is one of those ladies who gets straight to your core -- she challenges you, encourages you, and has an amazing talent for speaking God's Word. Her illustrations are relational and life changing. Butterfly Wings is so very thankful to have Mary supporting our ministry.
The February 4th evening revolved around a chocolate and coffee extravaganza -- what better way to get get to a woman's heart! We featured products from many different vendors in the area. Also, there were women's activities such as mini manicures, paint-your-own artwork, make your own beauty products, mini massages, pampering hands sessions, and more. Fantastic gifts were raffled off! This yea's event was FREE, however donations were accepted to help further our ministry. Over 100 women attended our event. Swwweeeet!!
